pet sitting - GENERAL INFORMATION

Once an animal lover, always an animal lover, no matter what that animal might be.  With this in mind, I am offering a pet sitting service, carried out personally by me. I am fully CRB checked and a qualified lawyer, so I hope this might set your mind at ease.  I can also provide full references as required.

The pet sitting service will work whereby, if you need your horse / dog / cat / goat / chickens and beyond checked, fed and patted while you are away on your holidays, I will come in and assist on an adhoc basis, when needed, whether a week at a time or the odd day here and there.

Being an animal owner myself of both cats and horses, and having had dogs, chickens and goats when I was growing up, I know how stressful it can be leaving your pets with strangers while you are on holiday.  I aim to alleviate this by offering a personal and tailored service so that you can relax and rest easy while away.

I am contactable 24/7 and can pop round in the blink of any eye to check-up for those of you based in Surrey.  Even if you already have a pet sitter, livery yard, cattery or kennel in mind, I am more than happy to health / sanity check them and make sure that they are doing their jobs properly while you are away - my drop in service keeps them on their toes !

HOW THE SERVICES WORK

Dependent on your needs, I am able to assist with a range of helpful offerings, which will of course be tailored to your requirements, this could include: 
  • Daily feeding & watering;
  • Walking;
  • General daily check-ups;
  • Catching in, turning out;
  • Livery / Kennel / Cattery check-up service;
  • Holiday home vetting;
If you need something more than this, I can source insured and reference checked pet sitters who will come in to your home and care for your pets 24/7 while you are away.

MY EXPERIENCE

Having been brought up on a farm as a child, I have had my fare share of animals over the years including the two horses, one dog and one cat that I now have. I have had the pleasure of looking after horses, cats, dogs, chickens, goats, pigs, calves, lambs and an assortment of other animals.  Its something I love doing and have good experience of.  I have to say my favourite has been my goats, who were absolutely mad and were great at tricks, including jumping on the roof of my mum's car, which she absolutely loved ;)
