PONY PATTERS THE ULTIMATE GUIDE

A HORSEY BLOG

A HECTIC WEEKEND

Well this weekend was manic as moved house, blooming crazy but nearly all sorted now!  Other than that, took my little 3 year old out in the pouring rain, got absolutely soaked and lept about like a blooming whirlwind despite being with his new mate!

The best news is the new house has a blooming UTILITY ROOM and I cannot believe how exciting I find the UTILITY ROOM.  It has a place for just about all of my horsey gear, and I have merrily laid out all of my tack cleaning kit, sponges et al, and also have shelves in the garage just dedicated to numnahs and rugs, its so exciting I love it - and so this is why they call us mad horsey people ;)

Anyway, Sunday was SJ clinic at Gasstons Yard in Headley (http://www.gasstonstables.co.uk/) which was great fun.  Lucy taught my group of 4 and much to our dismay Lucy added a girl to our group that actually appeared to know what she was doing :( ha ha but it actually turned out she was lovely and we just looked on in awe as our bunch of three reversed, ducked out and stopped until the cows came home.  However, towards the end of Lucy's amazing efforts at making us look vaguely like we know what we are doing (despite riding since I was 12!) we were jumping fences in a half orderly way and all ponies were brill !

It was great fun and we met a new jumping companion who was lovely.  I think their next SJ date is Saturday 12th December, but I shall be in NZ, although my esteemed jumping crew are going ;) which reminds me to book them in !!
